Earth Day

Earth day started in the 1970s. It is a national holiday that was created by Senator Gaylord Nelson as a way to force the issue of pollution onto the national agenda.Earth day is a day where people come together to help keep the Earth clean.

 One way you can help is by recycling trash. Everyone  should always strive to keep the Earth clean. If everyone picks up a piece of trash it will go a long way to making the world a cleaner, less polluted environment. Places that suffer from pollution the most are the oceans and the rainforest. Best thing about Earth day is that people come together to clean the Earth and enjoy the outside. Let’s go save the Earth.
