The George Daily Park is located in Montevallo right in front of MMS, it’s about an acre in size. George Daily Park was organized by a national organization, a nonprofit multi-phased called Mission continues; Mr. Pat states“ They had called me down in 2019 and I’ve been helping ever since.” Mr. Pat actually graduated from the University of Montevallo and has been training to be the platoon leader ever since 2019. His mission down here finishes in 2024, which is very close. He serves in the Navy. They specialize in community engagement and active volunteerism in the community, they also awarded him and gave him a small grant.

George Dailey Park provides a unique respite and recreation area for children and adults alike. Open sunrise until dusk, this park features a pavilion, picnic tables, playground equipment, park benches, and playground equipment restrooms – the perfect place for family reunions, birthday parties, or special events. The pavilion is available to be rented for a minimal fee. Rental reservations are made on a first-come, first-served, basis.
