The Montevallo Marching Troubadours completed their first competition on September 28th in Gadsden, Alabama. Troubadours have worked very hard since July to compete against other high school bands around Alabama. The Troubadours have trained more rookies than there are numbers of vets to prepare and dominate the challenge. They performed in a scorching 98 degree weather and received a superior ratings in band and percussion and excellent ratings in danceline and colorguard. They will continue to work hard as the next performances are quickly approaching! They hope to receive superior ratings in all categories and hopefully place best in class in each division! The second competition is October 12 in Prattville, Alabama, and the third is October 26 in Tuscumbia, Alabama.
