Here at Montevallo High School, exam week is December 16-20. Coming up on this week, many students struggle with their stress levels and finding ways to be fully prepared for each of their exams. This can be one of the most stressful times throughout the school year, however students at MHS succeed! There are many ways to prepare for exams and many ways you can reduce your stress levels approaching exam week!
Exam week can and will cause stress if you allow it to do so. However, there are ways to reduce the stress. Like getting enough sleep and still taking time for yourself will improve your mood and lessen your stress. Quizzing yourself over and over on material that will be on your exam is a great way to memorize the material. Making sure that you leave enough time to study is very important; In other words, do NOT wait until the night before your exam to start reviewing!! Studying with a group of people is a great idea that would benefit not only yourself, but those you are studying with! Also, utilizing kahoots and quizlets that your teachers give you is not a bad idea either! Take advantage of all study materials you possibly can to make the best grade possible 🙂
