Every year the Montevallo National Honor Society hosts the decathlon. It is held on the last Friday before spring break. It is free to get into but they will be having concession stand, the money that they raise will be donated to Shelby County Humane Society.

The decathlon is an all-day event, there will be games that you can sign up for in your sponsor classe. The class sponsors are: freshmen-Mrs House, sophomores- Mrs Skinner, juniors- Ms. Holt, seniors- Ms. Pastor. We will have two grades in the PAC and two in the gym, and we will switch after lunch. The games that will be held in the PAC include family feud, a spelling bee, spicy food challenge, trivia, and finish the lyric. The games that we will be having in the gym are dodgeball, relay races, basketball, ships & sailors, and volleyball.

The way that the round will be play will be seniors vs junior then is will be sophomore vs freshman. Then if we have time we might have students vs teachers. Come and join us this Friday.
