AP Exams 

This week many students have been preparing for their AP exams that will be taking place next week at The University of Montevallo. Although it’s a very stressful thing to think about, it’s very beneficial for some people. This exam can help you if you’re going to college. It provides insight into their potential to excel at the college level. 

The students took a mock exam to prepare themselves for the real test. Montevallo high school offers several AP classes such as AP US history, AP lang, AP literature, and many more. The grading scale for the AP exams is 1-5 where 5 is the highest you can get and 1 being the lowest. In order to get college credit you must get a 4 or higher on your AP exam. Kayleigh McCray stated “I take some time to hang out with my friends outside of school to deal with stress”. Looking through all your resources provided by the teachers and watching review videos on YouTube have been preparing Kayleigh. “To distress myself I’m trying not to use my phone and go on walks’ ‘ stated by Stephanie Morales. She also mentions that she studies for a few minutes each day.
