We interviewed Dani Blake on what her expectations are for the pageant and how she’s feeling.

Is this your first time competing in the pageant ?”

“No, I’ve competed once before.”

What are your expectations on the day?”

“I expect it to be a very fun day!”

“How are you feeling about the big day? Excited? Nervous?”

I’m very excited for pageant day!”

Some people may have the misconception that competing in the pageant. However, there’s quite a bit of work behind it. The contestant has to not only fill out the form but go through an interview process. After the contestant is accepted into the pageant, it’s time to go and find the dress, get their hair and makeup done, and such.

It is currently too late to apply to participate in the pageant as a contestant but tickets to watch the pageant itself are $5 at the door. The pageant is a full afternoon event starting with kindergarten through fifth grade at 3:00 P.M and sixth grade through twelfth grade at 6:00 P.M.

It’s a very fun event to watch and a highly anticipated one. We hope to see you there to watch and to support your friends.
