On February 6, 2020, the Special Needs Prom was held at the Sterling Castle. This is an opportunity for these kids to go to prom with their friends and meet new friends. The theme was “Under The Big Top ” and it was decorated with a circus theme. The DJ played great music, everyone danced, and had a great time on the dance floor. Most of all the food was delicious. The kids loved getting to eat, dance and hang out with their friends.

Our very own Samantha Dewell was crowned Queen for the Prom. She said, “ I was so excited and I couldn’t believe it. I had so much fun with my friends and my new friends I made.”

Ms.Hancock said, “It was fun having a day to celebrate our accomplishments, spend time with old friends, and make new friends.” 

This is a fun time with meeting new people, dancing the night away, and eating good food. It is always a great event every year.
