On Wednesday, February 5, 2020, University of Montevallo hosted a college fair, open to any and all students. Montevallo High School juniors walked over to the campus’s Student Activity Center. The hall was full of over 30 colleges. Students browsed college booths and asked questions about the requirements to get in and scholarship opportunities.

Some of the colleges that were there included University of Tennessee, University of Alabama in Huntsville, University of West Alabama, University of South Alabama, Samford University, Troy University, University of Alabama in Birmingham, University of Montevallo, Ohio University, and many many more!

Junior Kelsy Correa says that the college fair was “very enjoyable and beneficial”. She says that it opened her up to more resources and options than what she was used to and hopes that people will take their journey into adulthood and their future education more seriously.

In less than three months, the juniors take the ACT and can start applying to their favorite college and begin their future at the school of their dreams.
