Take what you need
January 17, 2020
Starting January 17 MHS will have, “take what you need” posters in different parts of the school. As a way to motivate other students around the school.
This idea was thought of by students, Emily Haynie and Kelsy Correa. The posters consist of notes in order to encourage others of hope, confidence, love, faith, kindness, self-control, patience, peace and humility.
Emily Haynie said, “I’m really excited to see how this can impact other students at MHS. I hope this is the start of something good. I am looking forward to seeing change happen at our school.”
The notes will allow students to grab what they might need a little bit more that day. For instance, if you are having a test and you are really lacking confidence, taking a confidence note from the poster will encourage you.
When asked about the poster idea, Jazmine Williams stated, “This is such a good idea. The posters will most definitely be encouraging to others as well as myself!”
Starting Friday, January 17th, 2020 posters will be hung up all around the school. We are looking forward to seeing everyone’s reactions.
