Future teacher hold trunk or treat

On October 31st, the Future Teachers of Montevallo members held a trunk or treat. Many members began to set up alongside Main St on Thursday after school ended. The trunk or treat consisted of FTA members coming up with games for kids to play, decorating their trunk and having candy to hand out.

Once everyone was ready they opened their trunks and kids started to play the games that members planned. Games such as ring toss and I Spy were being played to help entertain the community. Some trunks were simply just decked out their trunks with Halloween decorations and members just handed out candy.

Junior Jordan Dunaway attended the event and said, “I had such a good time. I really enjoyed decorating my truck all cute! It was really good to see other members of the FTA participate. I definitely think that the kids had a really good time as well. I’m glad we were able to give back to the community! I can’t wait to do it again next year!”

We should be proud of the amazing club members of Future Teacher and for their time served to the community last Thursday!
