Juniors dominate dodgeball game

The homecoming game wasn’t the only big game on Friday. Montevallo High had another game up its sleeve. Dodgeball was one of many activities throughout homecoming week. The pressure between each grade rose every minute as the dodgeball game approached and so did the competitive spirit. The game started with the freshmen going against the sophomores, resulting in a win for the sophomores. Following that game was the juniors vs. seniors, after an intense match the juniors ended up winning. Then it was time for the final match between the juniors and sophomores, ultimately leading to the victory of the junior class. But that wasn’t the last of it, Ag teacher Mr. Cottingham was determined to beat the junior class by himself. That situation didn’t end well for Mr.Cottingham until the last few minutes where everyone in the stands decided to jump in and play. It was a great way to start the evening off for the big game.

Junior Campbell Cost said, “I enjoyed destroying all the other grades”

Junior Joshua Galvan agreed saying he “had fun being part of the best team and it was fun overall.”
