On Thursday, November 14th the Montevallo Bulldogs took on the West Blocton Tigers in their first basketball game of the season. It was a great turnout for the Dawgs and they won the game with a score of 76-23. Senior Jamarius Carter showed up and showed out with their mouth dropping dunks and junior Kavounte Britton led the fans on with his ankle breaking dribbling skills.

 Kial Cottingham, a member of the team, says, “We wanted to make our first impression great and start the season off right and I think we did that. I’m just excited for the rest of the season”. 

The boys all worked hard and played together to get themselves to where they wanted to be and what looks like will be a great season for the Dawgs. We all look forward to see what’s next in store for the team this season.
