The month of November is known for the Thanksgiving holiday and Black Friday. Thanksgiving is celebrated on the fourth Thursday of November. On Thanksgiving, the harvest and all blessings over the past years are celebrated. Typically, people eat meals together and share the things they are grateful for. Black Friday is also a huge deal in November. Black Friday is the Friday after Thanksgiving and is known as the kick off for Christmas shopping. There are huge deals and mark downs on a lot of items. This year, Thanksgiving is going to be celebrated on November 23, 2o23 and Black Friday is November 24, 2023.

It is easy to allow the negative things to outweigh the good. As a high school student, the stress of grades, future goals, extracurricular activities can all be overwhelming; causing people to lose light of things they are thankful for. However, even in the hardest times, we can still find things to be thankful for. November should not be the only month we show our thankfulness, so try your hardest to find the best in all things!
