Future Educators of America held a Parents’ Night Out, Friday, Dec. 2 in the cafeteria from 6-9 p.m.  The event was $20 per child to allow parents to finalize their Christmas shopping or just have a night for themselves.

“I really enjoyed watching my FEA students be kids again and not so stressed out,” FEA sponsor Dawn Cabrera said.

Over twenty children participated in the event.  During the evening, FEA members had many activities including board games and arts and crafts for the children to do..

“It was fun to be able to make a magical Christmas night for the kids,” FEA member Sam Reece said.

They later watched the movie, Open Season 2 and enjoyed cookies and hot chocolate.

“It was a peaceful and joyous event,” FEA member Leah Waites said. “Both the kids and FEA members had tons of fun.”

FEA has offered this service for parent the past four years.
The group plans to offer a Couples Night Out, Friday, Feb. 10.  There will be no charge.
