SGA will sponsor a blood drive at Montevallo High School, Monday, Oct. 29. Students, faculty and community members will be able to sign up during lunch in the cafeteria, October 25 and 26.
In order to give blood students must be 16 years of age or older with a signed permission slip. Those over 18 simply have to bring a picture ID and weigh 110 pounds.
Last year MHS reached their all time high of approximately 30 people giving blood.
“I felt happy to be able to help people because I love doing things for the Lord,” former blood giver, Ebony Smith said. “I’m not looking for a blessing; I’m just trying to save a life.”
Students should see SGA sponsor Lee Pastor or any SGA member for more information.
