Montevallo High welcomes parents and students to meet the new principal and teachers at Open House, Monday, Sept. 24 at 6:00 p.m.   Parents will have an opportunity to meet their child’s teachers and pick up progress reports. 
   The evening will begin with a presentation by principal Gary Minnick who will welcome the parents and discuss future plans for school improvement at MHS.
   “I want to communicate with the community and get them more involved with the school,” Minnick said.
   After the address, parents will have an opportunity to follow their child’s schedule with four minutes allowed in each period.   
   “I want the students to know that the faculty is behind them and want to see them graduate and succeed,” Minnick said.
